| #1 | A friend of mine, Bill, in California needs to find a home for his precious kitty. The adult kitty is spayed. She is possibly some type of Maine Coon mix. I have already referred him to local rescue organizations.
He is afraid the local shelter is going to euthanize her because of her age, so he did not surrender her. (I think he is wrong because I have seen many cats on the website for months, but maybe they are not holding them as long anymore with all of the surrenders due to foreclosures.) I do not know her exact age, but I believe she is still under 10 years of age. He got evicted because his rental turned out to be an illegal dwelling. He had lived there for nearly a decade. Landlord on property said he could leave kitty behind and come back and leave food for it, but I fear she will turn completely feral if left completely outdoors with no companionship.
She has been an outdoor kitty during the day and came inside his little studio at night. She needs some type of secure indoor shelter at night--either a garage or the house would be great. Anyone near the Central Coast of California--Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Jose, or the Bay Area who may be able to take in another furchild? My friend Bill is a retired school teacher and can be reached at the following email address for more information: bookman4@hotmail.com. All of God's Blessings, Ceci's Mom (Robin) and Mama to Lil' Red, my precious boy |
